Broome - Roebuck Bay lies in the traditional country of the Jukun and Yawuru Aboriginal peoples. Located in the North West of Western Australia, about 2.5 hours by plane from Perth. Roebuck Bay is amazing due to the amazing diversity of geology, plant and animal life. This aerial photograph was taken along the red sand beaches of the northern part of the bay, as it starts to mix with the white sand further around hence the interesting swirling and mix of beach sand colours. The red pindan earth of the region, the green pindan woodland, mangroves, and the turquoise water of the bay make for a stunning image. Always a pleasure to visit.
